Millbrook Surgery, Wincanton, Bruton, Milborne Port and Queen Camel GP Practices are now working collaboratively to offer appointments to their own and each other’s patients who cannot easily access primary care services during normal working hours. Encouraging patients to manage their own health, lose weight and/or reach personal goals through a weekly weigh-in, basic health checks, lifestyle advice and support. The weekly drop-in service begins Wednesday 3rd May 9.15 am - 10.00 am at Millbrook Surgery. Free to all Millbrook Surgery patients. Happy and healthy poster
Dementia Awareness Day
Please note that the Dementia Awareness Day advertised in the Conduit Magazine for Friday 10th February at 10.00am has had to be cancelled. It will now take place on Thursday 15th June at 3.15pm. The presentation will be held at The Shambles, Market Place, Castle Cary. All are welcome to attend. If you would like any help or advice before June, please feel free to contact the Health Coaches at Millbrook Surgery.
All presentations will be given by a Health Coach from Millbrook Surgery and will take place at The Shambles, Market House, Castle Cary. They will begin at 3.15pm, and are free of charge to both Millbrook surgery patients and non patients. All are welcome. All presentations are preceded by a short, level walk around Castle Cary lasting approx. 1 hour. The walk begins at The Shambles at 2.00pm, you are most welcome to join us for the walk, or meet at The Shambles for 3.15 for the presentation. read more...
